Ashley grew up in Eastside Detroit where her family’s food industry companies reside. She went to St. Angela grade school and Regina High School. While attending high school, she worked as a medical assistant in a family practice office, striking a passion for preventive medicine. Ashley completed the registered nurse program at Macomb Community College and began working as a floor nurse. While working as an RN, Ashley received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Eastern Michigan University. The COVID-19 pandemic struck and she began working the frontlines of the crisis while beginning graduate school. Ashley graduated with honors from the Family Nurse Practitioner program from Spring Arbor University with a Masters of Science in Nursing. She became board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Although she enjoyed her 6 years working as a registered nurse at Ascension St. John Hospital in interventional cardiology and cardio-thoracic surgery, she found her true passion to lie within family and pediatric care.
Ashley enjoys travel, music, up north Michigan, and sports. In her free time, she can be found spending quality time with her husband, children, family, and friends.
