Amanda is originally from China Township, Michigan and graduated from Cardinal Mooney Catholic High School in Marine City where she was active in volleyball and soccer all 4 years. After high school she attended Macomb Community College and graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Associate Degree in Nursing. Amanda started her nursing career at Henry Ford Macomb on the cardiac telemetry unit. While working as a floor nurse, she pursued Oakland University’s fast track Bachelor of Science in Nursing program and completed her degree with honors. She is also a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Amanda joined Silver Pine Medical Group as a Nurse Care Manager in January of 2020, while concurrently maintaining a contingent position at the hospital. Returning to Oakland University for her master’s degree, Amanda graduated with a 3.9 GPA and is board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner. In her free time, Amanda enjoys traveling anywhere and everywhere, boating and beach volleyball in the warmer months, cycling, and golf. She also loves to read, spend time with her husband, 2 dogs, and cat, as well as family and friends.
