Brenda J. Bierenga, FNP-BC

Brenda grew up in the town of McBain, MI and attended Northern Michigan Christian School K-12. From there, she moved to Grand Rapids, MI where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree at Calvin College, graduating in 2004. As a Registered Nurse Brenda worked in a variety of hospital settings including orthopedic and cardio-thoracic step down care. She then attended the University of Michigan Family Nurse Practitioner Program and became certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center in 2008. While attending U of M, Brenda was a graduate nursing instructor and led nursing students in the hospital. She has special training in the fields of bone and mineral disease and women’s health.
